The Teaching Workshop is an annual event organised by NAFA’s academic staff for all educators involved in the arts within and outside of NAFA. The annual workshops aim to explore curriculum design and delivery that promote deep and engaged learning in our classrooms, to enable collaboration among educators and art practitioners, as well as to inspire on-going dialogue and learning where we embrace change and openness in our teaching practice.
Students from all 8 programmes presented their findings from their leadership trail, where they went out to interview leaders in the arts prior to the workshop.

URA BENCH ART
Participants had to submit bench designs aligned with the theme of Singapore Night Festival 2014 – “Bold and Beautiful”. Out of the 308 designs submitted by the first year students at NAFA’s Department of Design and Media, 10 designs were selected by representatives from NAFA, URA, the National Heritage Board and the Singapore Art Museum. 10 students then painted their designs on the benches from 18 to 20 August.
